From My Heart
As most of you know, our granddaughter, Ava, runs track for the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. On Friday and Saturday of this last week, she was scheduled to run in three events. So, we left on Thursday and drove to Louisville, KY., to watch her run in those events. I will be back in the pulpit on Wednesday evening to continue our Bible Study on Ephesians 6. I saw several of her races when she was in high school, but this was our first time seeing her run in a huge Division 1 race. I hate not being in the pulpit, but you know what they say, “All work and no play gets you in trouble with your wife when she wants to go see her granddaughter run in a race!” Or something like that!!! Anyway, I will be back on Wednesday evening.
Several folks have asked me about the Jeffrey Epstein disaster! Let me tell you that I am as upset, perplexed, angered, and ready to scream as many of you are over this mess. I cannot understand why there has not been a complete uprising over seeking justice for all these women who have spoken up and revealed how they were molested by this pervert and by his powerful friends. I find it strange that the UK has arrested and charged two very high-profile people - one being Andrew, the brother of King Charles. And here in America, where there is nothing but a long trail of broken women and young girls, shattered and broken lives, and who knows how many deaths, not one arrest, and not one person brought up on charges! Isn’t that strange?
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the woman who exposed Epstein and Maxwell, wrote in a “tweet” on what is now “X,” in 2019, and said, “I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal! I have made this known to my therapists and GP - if something happens to me, for the sake of my family, do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quieted.” And yet, the official statement you will read (no matter where you look) about her is that she committed suicide at the age of forty-one. Hmmmm!
Is Jeffrey Epstein really dead? I am not so sure he is! Narcissists like him do not normally commit suicide! Where did he get his multiplied millions of dollars without a full-time job? I am totally disgusted by this cover-up and the fact that no one is being held accountable for these horrible crimes. There is a gap in the camera footage on the night Epstein allegedly “hung himself!” Has anyone done anything to explain that? No, they have not! And the obvious cover-up is so wrong on every level. Where is true justice today in America?
Have a great day, and again, “even so come Lord Jesus.”
