From My Heart

Karen and I will be away for our vacation for the next week and a few days. We are meeting our daughter Lauren and our granddaughter Ava for a week’s stay in Hilton Head, S.C. We will then drive up to Myrtle Beach, where Karen’s oldest sister lives, and stay with them for a couple of days. I will fly home on the 3rd, and Karen will drive to Charleston, W.Va., to spend a week with her dad. I will be back in the pulpit on July 6th. Pray for a restful time and safety as we travel.

I am sure you are watching the Iran-Israel war and wondering what is going to happen next. I have heard several self-proclaimed prophets on their channels and podcasts who are saying this present conflict is Armageddon! But I totally disagree! The Battle of Armageddon will happen at the end of the seven years of Tribulation. The Tribulation Period will not begin until the Rapture of the Church takes place and the Lord Jesus calls His church out of this world to be with Him in Heaven.

One fellow who does not even profess to be a saved man is saying he feels this is the war being described in Ezekiel 38. But again, I disagree! Ezekiel 38 describes the final battle that the Scriptures call “The Battle of Armageddon.” So, what is this war that is being waged today between Israel and Iran?

You might remember through the years, I have said many times that Israel is never going to allow Iran to have a nuclear bomb! Well, the Biden regime lifted all the sanctions against Iran, even gave them millions and millions of U. S. dollars! The money was flown over to them in huge jets, on pallets, and delivered right into the hands of the very people who have sworn publicly that they want to destroy Israel and the United States. This money, given to them by the Biden Administration, has enabled them to get the materials needed for a bomb. Israel’s intelligence was watching and attacked them to prevent them from firing a nuclear warhead into Israel.

This is not Armageddon, but it is another step towards Armageddon! The Rapture is the next thing to happen on God’s schedule. And once the Church is taken up to meet the Lord, then the world will cry for peace…and that is when the Antichrist will rise up and bring peace to the world. That peace will last for 3 ½ years, and then the Antichrist will turn against Israel and will lead the charge to destroy the Jews! But God will protect them and preserve His people (the Jews) and will fully deliver them at the Battle of Armageddon.

If you look at Luke 21:25-28, you will see the admonition given to us by the Lord Jesus. In v. 28, Jesus said, “And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

We are getting close…because we have already begun seeing these things!
