From My Heart

We start the Living Cross tonight at 7:00. This year, it is an entirely new drama that I know you will enjoy. Please plan to be back this evening to see it, so you will get excited about telling others and inviting them to come to see it. It has a powerful message, and we are hoping to see many folks trust the Lord. The preparation for this week’s Living Cross begins on January 1, so a great deal of hard work goes into the four nights. Our folks have worked long and hard, and I sure hope you will be here tonight to see the first presentation.

I heard last Tuesday on the “Morning Show” on WCBM, some startling statistics that shocked me greatly. Network Contagion Research Institute polled young adults and asked if assassinating Trump and Musk, destroying Tesla vehicles, or setting Tesla dealerships ablaze is justified. The survey questioned 1,264 U.S. residents and 31% said, “It would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk, with 38% saying the same about President Trump.” I found the article on “The Blaze Media” entitled, “Leftists normalizing ‘assassination culture’ - the majority view violence against Trump as justified.”

Those numbers increased drastically when isolating the “left of center” respondents, which were those who described themselves as “far left” or “Liberal.” Forty-eight percent said it would be “somewhat” justified if someone murdered Musk, and (wait for it) FIFTY-FIVE percent said it would be “somewhat” justified should someone murder Trump!

The radial Left has lost their minds and is now advocating murder, violence, mayhem, arson, and destroying public property as justifiable. So, they are saying if they do not agree with you politically, it is justifiable to murder you! They are not necessarily saying they would murder for their cause, but if someone else did - they would see the murder as justifiable. The report says this “assassination culture” trend started back in December 2024 when United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, was shot in the back and killed in an ambush-style murder. In my opinion, our country has lost its soul! The entire article makes the point that in America today, the culture has dramatically shifted, and violence is being stylized, glorified, and even encouraged by those hoping someone will step in to “do what needs to be done!” Where did morality go? Where did respect for life go?

Have a wonderful day and pray faithfully for the Living Cross this week.
