From My Heart

It is hard to imagine we are so close to the 2024 general election. I want to encourage everyone to go to the polls and vote. Your vote counts in the grand scheme of things, even though we happen to live in a State where three major cities make up most of the population.  Baltimore, the Washington D.C. suburbs, and Annapolis are usually very large strongholds for the Democrat Party. But your vote is so important, and it is your right through the United States Constitution to cast a vote for the candidate of your choice.

This last weekend, it looks like there was another assassination attempt on Trump that was stopped in just the nick of time. Of course, this fellow said he was not a threat to the former President, and he was not going to the rally with any ill intentions. However, it looks quite strange that the man had loaded weapons in his vehicle, fake identifications, fake passports, and fake license plates on his car. He even had fake press credentials, which got him into a special parking area near the platform where Trump was scheduled to speak. This makes three attempts on Trump’s life.

Another interesting matter is the Department of Homeland Security’s Secret Service agency has not been the group that foiled any of these attempts on Trump’s life! In all three instances, it has been local police entities that saw something that caused them to act and foil the attempted assassination plots. That is very concerning to me! I cannot help but feel if we knew what was happening in our government, it would scare us to death. Yet, Trump continues to go to these outdoor rallies! I fear that if whoever is trying to kill him continues trying - someone just may be successful! We really need to pray the Lord will continue to protect Donald Trump.

I hope you saw where President Biden has sent another highly advanced and powerful weapons system to help Israel shoot down the daily barrages of missiles being fired into Israeli cities. This missile system (called THAAD, which means, ‘Terminal High Altitude Area Defense’) is a major upgrade to the other systems Israel has already purchased from the U.S. military. This is a huge improvement to some of the things the Biden/Harris White House has said publicly to Israel. While appeasing their base with anti-Israel language in public, they are helping Israel with war plans, weapons, new planes, and now thisadvanced missile defense system, which will help deter an attack when Iran or Hezbollah fires hundreds of rockets at the same time! The Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and the Arrow System simply get over-run with those large-scale attacks. THAAD will be a great help!

Let’s always remember Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” When we pray for the “peace of Jerusalem,” we are praying for the Lord Jesus to return to this earth - because His return is the only way there will be peace in Jerusalem, in Israel, and in the world. “… Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” (Rev. 22:20).
