From My Heart

It amazes me to watch the way the Biden Administration keeps putting pressure on the Netanyahu government to call a cease-fire with Hamas!  Israel keeps saying they want to get their hostages back before any peace plan can be accepted.  So far, the terrorists in Gaza have said they are not interested in signing any agreements with Israel!

What could be the reason for Hamas not wanting to release the hostages?  Might it be because Hamas does not want Israel to find out the hostages have all been slaughtered by these barbarian murderers?  I sure hope they are all safe and sound, but with all the months that have passed it seems doubtful to me they could have survived!

Israel is still fighting with Gaza as the Hamas thugs will crawl out of a hole, fire several rockets at Tel Aviv, and then go back underground!  They do not understand that Israel has the capability to instantly see where the rockets are shot from and can instantly retaliate.  But they are also fighting against the terrorist group, Hezbollah, in Lebanon.  Hezbollah is another proxy terrorist group for the Iranian terrorist regime. Last weekend, Israel shut down the electricity in the entire nation of Lebanon.  It would be quite a difficult endeavor to fight a war without electricity!

The Israeli Army has also been eliminating the leaders of the various terrorist groups.  One by one these guys will make a public appearance, and then he is eliminated in some unbelievable and unexpected fashion!  Don’t forget, whenever one of these Islamist terrorists is killed in “jihad,” he is taught and promised that he is going to Heaven, to receive his 72 virgin wives!  Nothing is as disgusting as Satan’s deceit of these Islamists by appealing to their flesh, as an incentive to be willing to die for Allah. And, of course, Israel is more than willing to help them get to their promised reward!!!!

The Psalmist David told us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. What we are actually praying for is the return of the Lord Jesus, first for His Church (at the Rapture) and then for His literal Second Coming.  And I say that because the Lord Jesus is the only One who will bring peace to this world.  Every U.S. President since Truman has sat at a table with an Israeli President and a few Middle East leaders and negotiated for peace; however, peace has never come!  But the Lord Jesus will bring peace, because He is the Prince of Peace!

Have a great day and keep looking for the Lord’s return.

Pastor Norris
