From My Heart

As America draws closer to the election in November, some tell-tale signs are starting to reveal themselves to the American people. Suddenly, in the last two weeks, Hillary Clinton has shown up on talk shows, news programs, interviews, and even made an appearance at the Tony Awards, where she received a standing ovation. She is still bemoaning the fact that she lost the 2016 election, saying the election was stolen from her! Funny how when any Republican says something similar it is labeled “election results denying,” and it is seen by the media as just a half step under the “unpardonable sin.”

The media is now running stories all through this last weekend telling America how well the Biden economy is doing! They are telling us America is “back to work,” but it still seems like “prices are still up, but just a little!” I went to BJ’s last Saturday and purchased a beef tenderloin and had them cut it into steaks to cook for Father’s Day. The meat was 17 dollars a pound, and the whole tenderloin cost 180 dollars! When I have done that in the past, the entire tenderloin would be about 75 dollars! That is almost double the price. So, for them to say that inflation is only 3% is an insult to our intelligence. From 75 to 180 is more than a 100% increase.

Another thing I am noticing is how difficult it has become to hide Biden’s physical condition. He froze up this weekend out in Hollywood at the “movie star fundraiser” but it was ok because Obama was there to take him by the hand, and with his arm across his shoulder, exit stage left and walk slowly and carefully as the cameras followed every step. I am still not convinced they are going to allow Biden to be on the ticket! Watch for them to say that the last four years have really taken a toll on him, and Jill feels it best to not have to put him through four more years. There is no doubt Hillary would run and probably Gavin Newsome would love to run, but I would keep my eyes on Michelle Obama!

I think America is waking up to the direction these people have been taking our country! They keep yapping about “our democracy!” They say Trump will destroy democracy! But America is not a democracy, our nation is a “constitutional republic.” A democracy is where a nation or a state is governed by the whole population, through the elected officials they choose. It is actually, “the power of the people.” The word literally means, “ruled by the people.” This is what this Administration is trying to do in our nation! They want “majority rules” and that usually ends up, “with everyone doing what is right in their own eyes.”

Trump is a threat to democracy - to their democracy! To their autocratic rule through executive orders, through unelected bureaucratic mandates, through a few elitists making laws, edicts, and rules “we the people” must live under! We are not a democracy, although this administration is ruling like a democracy with their edicts! These edicts take away our freedoms and are aimed to push us to accept their god - which has two heads: climate change and unlimited abortion rights. Selah! Pray for your country!

Pastor Norris
