From My Heart

As the mid-term elections inch closer and closer, there are many “politics as usual” things happening. Remember the good ole days when everyone went to the polls on the actual designated election day and filled out a paper ballot? The early voting now starts a month ahead of election day! But, has anything changed since the election of 2020? It sure doesn’t seem that anything has changed - but we will see!

On October 4, 2022, Rasmussen released a poll after asking “How likely is it that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 Presidential election?” The final tally was 55% said they thought there was cheating, and 40% said there was no cheating. As the poll was analyzed, it revealed 75% of Republicans said cheating took place and only 20% said it did not happen. With Democrats, it was 35% said it happened, with 61% said it did not. With Independents, 53% said yes and 40% said no! With White folks, 52% said yes and 42% said no. With Black folks, it was 55% yes, and 40% saying no! With Hispanics, 62% said yes and 35% said no! With younger voters (age 18-39) 55% said yes and 30% said no. And with the elderly, it was 49% said yes, and 45% said no.

I do not see that much has been done to clean up voting in our country. Back in the 2020 election, the video evidence of Democrat poll workers shutting down the counting, running out the Republican workers, and then pulling suitcases full of ballots from under tables was quite telling. What has been done to stop this kind of thing from happening again?

The media is saying that all of the Senate, House of Representatives, and Governor races are all “within the margin of error!” I am not sure I believe that! I do not think with the economy failing like it is, inflation at record numbers, fuel prices, woke ideology in schools, businesses, and government, crime stats, defunding the police, the wide-open Southern Border, and a disastrous foreign policy that is putting the world on the brink of WWIII and a nuclear holocaust - that these races are neck and neck! But the media is reporting that things are really tightening, and the Republican candidates are getting closer and closer to their Democrat opponents. So, the media is saying every one of these radical Leftist Democrats is leading every race! And there doesn’t seem to be much concern from the Left!

Could the lack of concern be an indication that what worked in 2020 is going to be used again in 2022? Americans are not buying what the Liberals are selling! I don’t think Americans like this “green new deal” baloney they are slicing. I don’t think Americans like the Southern Border wide open! I don’t think Americans want drag queens performing for the first graders! I don’t think Americans want their Socialism! Please plan to vote this November 8, and let’s get our country back on track!

     Have a great day!

Pastor Norris
