From My Heart

This last Monday and Tuesday I was preaching in Oakland, Md., in a Sword Conference with Dr. Shelton Smith. We had a wonderful time of fellowship, and the Lord blessed us with some great soul-stirring services. One of our young men who grew up in our church, Matt Trezise, and his wife are serving at the Mt. Lake Independent Baptist Church where we held the conference. He is doing a great job and the Pastor and Church love him dearly. Anyway, I bring greetings from Dr. Smith!

It has been amazing to see the Progressives on the Left politicize the devastating Hurricane Ian, which pounded into Florida this week. The Bill they rammed through the House and Senate without any Republican support, The Inflation Reduction Bill, has nothing to do with reducing inflation. It is all about spending a trillion dollars on “climate change,” providing funds for green energy, and subsidizing the entire “Green New Deal” agenda.

Senator Amy Klobuchar said last Tuesday that it is a good thing Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act (just a month or so ago), because the hurricane that was coming into Florida would have been a Category 6 when it hit land! And said the Democrats had to win the mid-terms to make sure the “Green New Deal” stays funded. The storm came into Florida as a Category 4, but somehow, I suppose, the storm heard about Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, and that caused it to lighten up in fear of the White House, or of Congress, or who knows what! How absolutely ridiculous are these people! There is no such thing as a Category 6 storm! But they are so desperate to retain power and hang on to the House and the Senate, they will politicize even a storm that is going to devastate Florida!

On Tuesday of this week, the State of Virginia had a staged day of protest so school kids could skip the afternoon classes and could march for LGBTQ and trans-gendered “rights.” The new Governor of Virginia is standing up to the radicals and declaring legislation to stop the Left’s agenda to start in kindergarten the grooming and brain-washing of children to accept this wickedness as normal behavior. Of course, the kids got an afternoon off from school, so they went out in droves to march, rather than sit in class. And the drive-by media were there to show the masses of young people who were standing with the Sodomites and the confused.

America needs to wake up and tell the Democrats we don’t want what they are peddling! We don’t want their radical agenda!  November 8 is coming up soon, and we can go to the polls in record numbers and vote these Progressives out of office. We do not have a choice…if we don’t stop all of this madness - we will never get our nation back! Have a wonderful day!

Pastor Norris
