From My Heart

I want to say a great big “THANK YOU,” to everyone for the wonderful job that was done with this year’s Living Cross. We had so many folks involved in the program, it would be nearly impossible to name every person. But I want all of you to know how appreciative I am for your faithful dedication to the Lord. It was a great week, and the Lord blessed your efforts mightily. I also want to thank Pastor Brian for writing the script and putting the whole thing together in such a clear and powerful way. I think that I speak on behalf of everyone when I say, “Job well done!”

Coming up next for our Church, is our Spring Revival meeting with Dr. John Hamblin, May 8-11. We had a fantastic meeting last year with Dr. Hamblin, and I am looking forward to him coming back for these four days. We had Bro. Terry Lawson and his family scheduled to sing for us during the revival, but evidently, Bro. Terry does not know how to use a calendar - and put down our invitation (which he accepted) on the wrong date! So, he and his family will not be able to come this year.

So, mark your calendar, and let’s trust the Lord for a great 4 days of preaching from God’s Word. Dr. Hamblin always delivers a powerful message and is being greatly used of the Lord every week in churches all over the country. Please pray daily for him, and pray the Lord will keep him strong, healthy, and on fire - as he comes to be with us.

Last week, President Biden gave an address to the nation concerning the rising inflation numbers. Biden blamed Russia’s President Putin for the inflation issues our country is experiencing. I don’t know of a single problem the Biden Administration has taken responsibility for! The spend, spend, spend philosophy of this Administration, coupled with the printing of millions of dollars in paper money, is what is causing the inflation.

They want the world to go “green” and that means they must rid the world’s dependence on fossil fuels. Turning off the production pipelines has caused gas prices to skyrocket! But, instead of taking the blame and reversing their decision in order to help the American people and lower prices, they blame Putin and continue to force their radical policies on us, “we the people.” Their solution is for you and me to purchase an electric vehicle! They want us to spend 60 thousand dollars on an electric car! Now, they have no intentions of giving up their jet airplanes, their SUV’s, and their air-conditioned offices; again, “rules for thee, but not for me!” I think the American people are seeing through their lies and deceits and will show these radicals the country does not want their Socialism.

Have a great day, and let’s pray for the Lord’s blessing.

Pastor Norris
