THANK YOU: Many thanks for all of the love, prayers, and cards at the unexpected loss of our dear son Tim early on the morning of February 18th.  It was too soon for us, but the Lord wanted him home.  His big smile and caring heart are already missed by so many.  Special thanks to Pastor Josh for flying to Arizona to provide support and conduct a wonderful, heartfelt, gospel service, and for Kellie Muller and Pastor Brian for taking the time to provide compassionate music.  There are so many here and around the country to thank.  In Christ’s love and strength, Steve and Kathy Brown, Gavin and Jackie Jennings, and our families.

From My Heart

We need to pray for the people of Ukraine as they suffer at the hands of a murdering, Communist thug dictator. Why would Russian soldier’s purposely run over an old man driving down the road, with a massive military tank is beyond my understanding. The Russian jets are bombing schools, apartment buildings, and even hospitals. Putin needs to be held accountable for the murder of hundreds of Ukrainian civilians! Please pray for these folks and ask the Lord to spare the innocent.

Does it make any sense to you that our country is paying Russia for oil? When Trump left office America was completely self-sufficient in the area of oil, natural gas, and petroleum products. The first hour after Biden was sworn into office, he signed executive order which turned off the Keystone Pipeline, and we once again became dependent on foreign oil.

This Administration went to Saudi Arabia and asked them to pump more oil out of the ground so they could sell it to us! They said they were not interested in doing any more than what they were doing. So, we are now buying oil from Russia and Iran! Can you believe we close-down our own pipeline, but then go overseas to our enemies to buy oil! Our cars run on gasoline and oil! Millions of Americans heat, cool, and cook with natural gas. Our jet airplanes run on jet fuel, which is refined from oil! Our truckers, our trains, and our ships - all use fuel.

In other words, we must have oil to make our economy work! So, does it make any sense to say you are shutting down American oil-producing capabilities, but then go overseas to buy the same products from people who hate us and want to charge us higher prices? Something is definitely-not ringing true in all of this! I read an article this week that said we could be paying six dollars a gallon by summer, if these tree-hugging liberals don’t do something quickly to fix things.

The people of Ukraine are making a brave stand against Russian invasion of their country. Women, teenagers, many elderly folks, and the average citizen of the country have taken up arms and vowed to fight to the death to keep their country out of Russian hands. Please pray for these people! Ukrainian citizens are loading the cars with Molotov cocktails and pulling up beside the Russian tanks and throwing them into the tracks and causing a lot of damage. The people are forming their own militias and fighting with all their might.

I trust you have a great day, and please pray for our Lord’s soon return!

Pastor Norris
