From My Heart

You have probably heard about what is called the “woke culture,” the Progressive Liberals are forcing upon our country. This term is used as an alert to injustices in society, especially in the area of racism. The first time I heard this voiced, it was used by Barak Obama, and now it is so prominently used by the Liberal Left to ease their guilt for what they perceive as America being an unjust, bigoted, racist country.

These “woke” liberals believe our country was founded by a bunch of “old white guys” who hated people different than themselves. So, these woke justice warriors are intent on “righting the wrongs” these unfair racists forced upon America.

These “woke warriors” have put pressure on companies across America to, as they call it, “go woke.” You might remember President Trump said many times, “To go woke, means you will go broke.” But that has not stopped the Liberal Left from shoving their thinking and agenda on us. The agenda is now seen just about everywhere!  Hollywood, television, cartoons, commercials, the printed page, and every other method or media they can conceive of has been impacted.

This culture of trying to right the wrongs done to the minority groups in America is today so over-the-top and in-your-face, many folks are speaking out for companies to stop the forced efforts to right perceived injustices! I have noticed television commercials have gone to the extremes with wokeism. Their thinking is African-Americans have been so mistreated, so they have to every African-American in a “woke” situation. If you watch television commercials, you would think every married couple is bi-racial.  I remember seeing a commercial about a year ago, with a white man, a black woman, and their Asian child! Now…that is biologically impossible!

Another arena where this culture has infected our society is in the area of Critical Race Theory. Young white children are coming home from their grade school classes in many large cities and are telling their parents they are evil people because of how the white race has treated African-Americans since America was established. Critical Race Theory is an evil idea that is one of the key tenants of the woke culture.

This so-called desire to right injustices is why the Attorney Generals in several “blue” states are letting African-American men out of jail no matter their crime. These blue states have decided to “defund the Police,” and the reason is because they say the Police arrest an unusually large number of African-Americans and they are imprisoned at a greater number. So, the woke liberals answer is to simply defund the police. And, of course, that results in an out-of-control crime increase. Like everything else Progressives get their hands on - they break it!
 Have a great day!
