From My Heart

The grocery store shelves are empty, gasoline is up over a dollar from where it was one year ago, 1.7 million illegals have come across the border without being vetted or vaccinated, inflation continues to go higher and higher, the crime rate is skyrocketing all around the nation because the Progressives want no bail or jail time for criminals, the exit of our troops from Afghanistan was (and still is) a complete disaster, and more Americans have died with Covid in the past year than in any of the previous years since the virus hit our country. But Joe Biden told the nation last week that his first year in office was a great success! According to the President’s press conference; he had the greatest first year of any past President…ever!

Personally, I think the American people would disagree with him and would not give him the kudos he gave himself in that press conference. It seems to me, these Washington politicians live in the bubble of D.C. and have no clue what is going on in the rest of the country. Everything is provided for these people making our laws and issuing their mandates. I would dare to say most of them have drivers who chauffer them around, who go to the grocery store for them, and they all seem to go into Congress with nothing - but when they leave Congress - they are multi, multi, multi, millionaires.

I also read last week that the January 6th Commission, which is doing their best to destroy President Trump, has called the Trump children before their committee to answer questions about what they said and did on Jan. 6th. Don’t you think it is strange that Congress is interested in Trump’s children, but they are not the least bit interested in Joe Biden’s son, Hunter. It is strange to me that not one Senator or one House member has ever called on Hunter Biden to appear before a Congressional committee to answer questions!

Another thing that happened last week was the Senate voted down changing the filibuster rule, which would have allowed the passage of two voting rights bills. The John Lewis Voting Acts Bill and the Freedom to Vote Act were stopped last week, when Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema voted with the Republicans to keep the filibuster. The President said if these two bills did not pass, future elections would be unfair! He and about every other Democrat, said the Republicans wanted to suppress the vote. That is a blatant lie and they know it.

Our country is in such a mess! The people are rejecting the hard left turn this Administration has taken. But they cannot see and will not believe America does not want their Socialism. They are going to find out though, in November!

Have a great day and keep listening for the trumpet to sound.

Pastor Norris
