From My Heart

Welcome back to church! The Internet and the livestream are great tools, but there is nothing like being here in person! We certainly need to pray for one another and ask the Lord to keep us from having any further outbreaks. This latest outbreak has taken a toll on our church family. Please keep praying for several folks who are still dealing with the virus and/or its effects.

A preacher friend asked me recently if I thought things would ever get back to “normal.” I honestly do not think we will see “normal” again for some time! You can be assured the Liberals will keep the virus going as long as they can, so they have an excuse to control and manipulate all of us. I wonder how many of these variants we are going to see before Covid dies down. This friend said, “Do you think this is the new normal?” I said, “Brother, I sure hope not.”

The lame stream media in our country is focused on Covid, on Donald Trump, and smearing the Republican
Party - while the rest of the world is on the verge of World War III. Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran are busy positioning themselves in a power struggle to replace the U.S. as the world’s dominant super power.

The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) has had several run-ins with Russia and Iran in the last several weeks. While doing bombing runs over Syria to destroy Iranian weapons storage facilities, Israeli planes have been attacked by Russian planes and this has caused a great strain on Middle East tensions. The Korean bully has been starving and cracking down on his own people to keep them from rising up against him. The bottom line is the entire world is on fire!

The Israeli Prime Minister, Naphtali Bennet, has been very strong in his stand against Iran. You can be certain that Israel is not going to allow Iran to develop a nuclear bomb. They know if those crazed radicals get nuclear capability - they will use it! Knowing Israel’s past, it would not surprise anyone to learn that Israel has agents working right in the middle of Iran’s nuclear industry, who will know when it is time to strike.

Seems to me that the “the Lord is at hand” (Phil 4:5). Again, let me remind you the Lord Jesus said, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
(Luke 21:28).

On another note, Karen and I want to say a great big “thank you” to our wonderful church family for the very generous Christmas gift you gave us! We appreciate your generosity more than we have words to express.

    Have a great day!

Pastor Norris
