I John1:5 – I John 2:2

Conquerors Sunday School Class – Sunday, November 22, 2020

Today’s Lesson thought can be summed up by asking this simple statement…
“God’s Word Will Keep Us From Sin, Or Sin Will Keep Us From God’s Word!”
------------
Today’s Lesson Theme Verse is found in this passage of Scripture…
“And he is the propitiation for our sins:
and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
I John 2:2

CONCLUSION…

Folks, never forget…God’s Word will keep us from Sin, or Sin will keep us from God’s Word!

Don’t allow Satan to deceive you into thinking you have no sin, but get that sin covered by the blood and allow your heart to be kept cleansed from all sin each and every day so that you can enjoy fellowship, not only with God but with other Christians!

God has provided the riches of fellowship for each of His children all around the world, but that fellowship must first begin with our coming to know Christ as our own personal Saviour and being birthed into the family God through faith in Christ! But our enjoying daily fellowship with God after we are saved requires an honest account for the sin which comes into our lives from day to day as well as our willingness to go to God and confess that sin so as to receive forgiveness and cleansing from that sin!

Oh that today, you and I, as born again children of God, would be sensitive to the holiness that God desires in our day to day walk in life and that we would be willing to recognize the sin that would possibly break our fellowship with God as well as with our other brothers and sisters in Christ!

We have God’s Word, therefore, we have ‘No Excuses’ for not knowing what we need to do or for not doing what we need to do in order to remain in sweet fellowship with God on a day to day basis!
