CONCLUSION…

Let’s ask ourselves today…

‘Am I being like the scoffers of this ole world today in my Christian life?’

‘Am I being a hearer only or am I being an obedient doer of the Word of God?’ (James 1:22)

‘Am I being an obedient servant of God or am I being a disobedient servant of God?’ (John 14:15, Matthew 28:19-20)

‘Is MY desire today for the lost world around me the same as God’s desire for the lost world today?’ (II Peter 3:9)

‘How should I respond to God’s desire for my life as a Christian today??’

Folks, God gives us a command as to how He would have us to respond today, and that command is found in Ezekiel 3:17-21…

In Ezekiel 3:17-21, God says, “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.”

Child of God, what will YOU choose to do today…will you choose to be obedient unto God’s command or will you choose to remain disobedient to God’s command today??

Lost person, I want you to understand something today…if you choose to reject God’s Word and to scoff at His promises and laugh, mock, and ridicule those who are trying to warn you of the wrath to come, you are being very foolish with your eternity!

God is reminding you through His Holy Word that “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”, and that all includes YOU!



Invitation:

Child of God, how will you respond to God’s desire for your life today? Will you love His Word?? Will you be obedient to His Word? Will you go and tell a lost world today that Jesus loves them??

Or will you just sit back and watch them die and go to Hell??

Don’t let the Scoffers of these Last Days keep you from serving the Lord! Stand for the Truth of the Word of God, no matter who says what…stand true! Allow the Holy Ghost of God to work in your life and to fill you with all boldness to stand when others are falling!

Stay faithful to the fundamentals of the faith today so the world can know that you belong to God! Never forget what God has done for you or what He has promised us in His Word!

And then perhaps you are listening to me teach this lesson today and you don’t know Jesus as your own personal Saviour—please hear me, lost friend, we want you to know that we love you today, and we want you to know that God loves you today!

God’s desire is for you to be saved…but the question is, how will you respond to God’s desire today??

If you are not certain of your salvation, you can be today! Why not repent of your sin and be saved today??
