Conclusion:

Child of God, when the devil sends his teachers of lies and damnation to you and tries to persuade you that God’s Word is not really true and that you cannot really believe anything the Bible says, don’t get discouraged and give in to the devil!

Don’t try to get even with somebody that mistreats you because you believe the truth of God’s Word or because you won’t compromise godly living for ungodly living. You just remember what the Bible says in Romans 12:21, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

And you just remember what Jesus said in John 15:3-5, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Jesus told a story in Matthew 13:24-30 stating, “…The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Folks, Satan will make certain that there will be ‘false teachers’ who will come in secretly and make themselves visible among true believers in our church and Sunday School class even as the Bible shows us here in II Peter chapter two, but “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

You may ask, ‘But preacher, how do I do that?’

First of all, recognize the fact that Satan is out to rob, and to steal, and to kill, and to destroy all that you and I are trying to do to teach people the truth of God’s Word today!

Secondly, don’t get used to or accustomed to sin, folks! And don’t be so surprised to see open sin becoming worse and worse, and to see sin so shamelessly running more and more rampant in our world today as we draw closer and closer to our Lord’s eminent return!

Did not our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ tell us in Matthew 24:4-6, “…Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass…”??

Stay in the Word of God, folks, and allow the Word of God to stay in you!

Beware of the dangers of false teachers that lay ahead of us each and every day and in each and every place we go, and simply stay in the Word of God!

If we will trust Him and stay in His Word, God will, even as we read earlier in II Peter 2:9, “…deliver the godly out of temptations…” even as He will one day “…reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished…”!

Stay in The Book and stay faithful to God!

And as we read in Ephesians 6:10-13, “…be strong [not in your own power, or in your own self, but be strong] in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

The simple fact is this dear child of God, dear Conqueror’s Class member, if we will choose to walk with the Lord we will not find ourselves running with the world or ever being deceived by the devil’s disguised ministers or any of his other false teachers!
