Conclusion:

Folks, do you think that you and I need to take heed to what Joel told the people of his day?

Do you think we need to humble ourselves, and pray, and seek God’s face, and turn from our wicked ways so that God would once again bless our nation and heal its spiritual desolation?

I certainly do…and I believe most of you here today believe the same thing!

Why does God chasten his children??

Because He loves them, therefore, let’s not take the chastening of God for granted today!

Let’s humble our hearts and repent of our sin and seek God’s blessing for if we do not, you can rest assured, our sins will find us out!
