A: The Time—The First Year of Darius (Daniel 9:1)

A: God’s Prophet was Repentant (Daniel 9:3-4)

Conclusion:
As we can so plainly see in Daniel 9:26-27, this great and terrible seven year period of great tribulation and sorrow will indeed come, but it is all in God’s great plan for His chosen people, the nation of Israel, to be drawn unto Him!
And we know these things to be true because even as Jesus came the first time into this world as a lowly babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger, He came for one purpose, and that purpose being to become the Saviour of the world!
Now, the time awaits when He will ultimately do away with the devil and all sin and will, at that great day, be declared to be King of kings and Lord of lords!
You and I, as God’s dear children, have a glorious day awaiting us, but folks, the chosen people of God, the nation of Israel also has a great and glorious day awaiting them as they will indeed receive all the promises ever made unto them by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…what a day that will be!
Stand ready, dear child of God, for our Redemption draweth nigh!
Daniel stood amazed as he contemplated all that God had planned for his people, the Jews!
But you and I also, as God’s redeemed and born again children, should never forget all that God has planned for us in Heaven one day!
As we remember how that God first gave His only begotten Son for each of us so many years ago, let us never forget that He is coming back again one day—and wouldn’t it be great if it were today?!?!
Never forget…God always keeps his Promises!
