Conclusion:
You and I must learn that God’s Word does not always tell us everything we need to know, but what it does tell us will change our way of thinking for all eternity, if only we will choose to study it and rightly divide it as we study it!
Daniel was indeed perplexed by the visions God had shown unto him, but his not understanding never changed his trust in the God who had shown him these great and terrible things that were yet to come or caused him to doubt God’s Word!
Perhaps the words of Solomon in Proverbs 3:5-6 came across Daniel’s heart which instructed him to simply continue to
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Oh, that you and I would choose to do the same in the day in which we live and are seeing those thing prophesied by God to begin to come to pass!
