Lesson Four: “Roadblock Ahead”

I Thessalonians 2:17 – I Thessalonians 3:13

Conquerors Sunday School Class – Sunday, August 15, 2021

Our Lesson’s Theme Verse is found in this passage of Scripture…
“Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”
I Thessalonians 3:11-13

Conclusion:

Folks, there ARE going to be roadblocks along the way in our Christian life each and every day!

But God still has a purpose for allowing those roadblocks to come our way, and that purpose is so that “…To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

May we choose to do all within our power to trust the Lord, even when Satan sets before us those seemingly impassible roadblocks in life so that through it all, we might fulfill the desire Paul had for these believers in Thessalonica as we read in verse 13, “…To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

Child of God, keep your eyes on Jesus, keep your heart filled with His Word, and keep your desire set on seeing His face so that one day, when we stand before Him, we will hear Him say, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant!’
