Announcements
NEW TIME: Due to it getting dark earlier, the Soul-Winner’s dinner on Thursday night will now start at 6:00 p.m., and we will go out for visitation at 6:30 p.m.
MISSIONARY VISIT: On Sunday, October 20, during the evening service, our missionaries from the Philippines, Marvin & Libby Montayre will be visiting with us. As you may recall, Libby struggled with some health concerns not too long ago, but is now doing very well. Plan to be here to encourage them in their ministry and hear how God is using them.
CHURCH KITCHEN CLEAN-UP: Please be sure to pick up any containers/dishes you may have dropped off for an event or VBS. There are still some containers and other items, along with a blue cooler, that have not been claimed. In addition, anything you are storing in the refrigerator/freezer should be removed or clearly marked with your name.
From My Heart
Today is our big day for the Bus Ministry. Our bus drivers, bus captains, and all the helpers work diligently to get as many children and as many of their parents to church as they can. Each bus will also share the Gospel with everyone who rides the bus to church. Please pray for the Lord to bless in a great way, so we can see many folks come to know the Savior.
It is hard to imagine that our nation is only a month away from what will probably be the most important Election Day. This is such an important day for our country. The candidate we put in the White House in this election could determine the destiny of America for a long time to come! Considering the past records of both Presidential candidates, the choice we have been given could not be any more clear - than it is in this election.
Based on what we saw in the four years of Trump’s first term, he governed as a Conservative in both the fiscal issues as well as the social issues. We were all somewhat shocked by the path of Conservatism he took as the President of the United States. There does not seem to be any changes in his positions in the last four years. Former President Trump’s past record has clearly defined him as a staunch Conservative!
Then, we have the Harris/Walz ticket! When you look at the past voting records of these two individuals, both have proven themselves to be extreme Progressive Liberals. Vice President Harris has been telling the public that she is not a radical, Bernie Sanders type, ultra-liberal - but her voting record does not support her claim. Every major polling company has stated with unshakable authority that she is one of the most (if not the most) liberal politicians in the U.S. Senate! She is more liberal than Sanders, Schumer, or even Elizabeth Warren. Her voting record proves this to be true.
Harris has chosen Gov. Tim Walz to be her running mate, and this man has taken every liberal position in his home state of Minnesota that he can take! He is 100% on board with this “woke” culture - so much so that he ordered “feminine hygiene products” placed in the boy’s bathrooms in Minnesota’s public schools. Both of these two candidates are full-throttle advocates of abortion - right up until birth! They advocate for and have promised that “partial-birth abortion” should be legal across the nation.
One candidate is against murdering babies, whether in the womb or out of the womb! The other is supportive of any and all types of abortion. One candidate is a friend to Israel, and the other votes as though an enemy of the Jewish State of Israel. One candidate wants to raise taxes on everything - to support her Socialist ideas. The other wants to cut taxes for everyone in order to spur the economic engine of Capitalism. Socialism or Capitalism…that is our choice on election day. Don’t listen to the “say or do anything to get elected” rhetoric - look at the record! In Jeremiah 13:23, God asks, “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots?” These politicians can and will say whatever it takes to get elected, but once in power - their true nature shines out for all to see! Please go vote this year, every vote is necessary because this election will tell the direction of our nation for a long, long time.
Have a great day and pray for the Lord to draw us close to Him.
