From My Heart

It is good to have Bro. Lou Rossi with us for the entire day!  Bro. Rossi preached great messages each evening, and I am looking forward to hearing him preach for us this morning and again tonight. I am so encouraged by the attendance and the number of guests we had in our services. Thank you for all the effort it took for you to be here and to bring visitors with you.

I suppose you have been hearing about the protesting going on by the Progressive Left on college campuses and the hatred being spewed against the Jews. A report came out this last Monday that this is all being sponsored by one of George Soros’s non-profit organizations called “The Tides Foundation.” Millions of dollars were sent to Tides and that money has been doled out to “community organizers” on each campus - so what you get are “paid protestors.”

This behavior we are witnessing will get more and more violent as the days pass and especially as we get closer to the election. These people have been chanting “death to America and death to Israel.” They chant, “From the river to the sea.” The river is the Jordan River, and the Sea is the Mediterranean. Simply put, this is a chant that calls for the elimination of the Jewish people in their own homeland. This is not going to end well, and you mark my word, people are going to be seriously hurt or even killed as the rage against Israel grows stronger.

I think we are going to see one of the ugliest and deadliest summers our nation has ever seen! All these trials trying to take Donald Trump off the campaign trail, with the ultimate goal of seeing him jailed…are going to explode before the summer is over! One DemocratCongressman, just this last week, introduced a bill to take away Trump’s Secret Service protection. It is probably not going to goanywhere, but can you imagine such a thing? Why would the Left want to remove Trump’s Secret Service protection? Hmmmm! The Left will pull out every trick in their playbook to stop Donald Trump from sitting in the Oval Office again.

Please pray for our country! Please pray for Israel and for the soon return of our Lord to snatch away His people to take us up to Heaven. This world we live in has wandered so far away from the Lord that we don’t even recognize the America that has been created over the last 20 years. As believers in the Lord Jesus, we certainly know the answer to all these issues: the sudden, immediate advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Titus 2:13, the Apostle Paul said, “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” I am not sure how much worse our world can getbefore the Saviour intervenes and comes to get His saints.

Have a wonderful day and keep looking up! Jesus is coming again!
