Hospitalizations

This year’s presentation of the Living Cross is just around the corner! We begin on Sunday night, April 2nd, and will continue on Tuesday, Thursday, and close out on Friday night. I want to ask you to help spread the word and invite folks to come. We have the tickets printed and out on the tables in the foyer, and you can use them as a reminder for folks to come. There is no charge, of course, but you can use the tickets to encourage folks to be here.

Our cast, choir, orchestra, and prop crew start working and preparing for this event as soon as the New Year begins in January. We will do our best to present the clearest presentation of the Gospel we can present; so we need you to help us spread the word and get a church full each night. But most importantly, we need our church family to pray for the Lord to bless the presentation each night.

There are a few times in the Book of Acts where Luke tells us about an event that happened in the early days of the Church, and he would follow up with these words after telling us about the event that happened, “But the Word of God grew and multiplied.” This is what we need to see happen today! We need to see the Word of God grow and multiply to where it impacts others in the area.

If we can take the next couple of weeks and diligently pray for the Lord to bless His Word during each night’s presentation and move Heaven to bless in an amazing way, we could see the Lord’s moving in a tremendous way. I want the Lord to bless and would love to see a great spiritual awakening in our area! Let me encourage you to pray toward that end!

The tour company I am using for our trip to the Holy Land in October is wanting to open the trip up to fill the slots they have allotted on the airplane and in the rooms they have reserved. If you are planning to go with us, please call or go online and put down a deposit so a spot can be saved for you. You do not have to do the entire trip! You can do the “Israel only” part of the trip. We will be going from Mt. Hermon in the north, to Eilat in the south. We have lunch scheduled in the city of Jericho, and another one in a Druse village, and will be able to float in the Dead Sea. You do not have to do the entire trip though...you can do the Israel-only trip and then fly home. You can go online to livingpassages.com and use the code: OPENDOOR2023 to reserve your spot.

Have a wonderful day and take a moment right now to pray for the Lord to bless us today and speak to your heart.

Pastor Norris
