From My Heart

Our nation continues its downward spiral toward judgment! Last Monday morning I turned on the news and watched the coverage of the previous evening’s Grammy Awards. The Grammy Awards recognize the “best” recordings, compositions, and artists of one year, running from October 1st to September 30th. The Grammys are usually a reflection of the culture! What happens at the Grammys is usually what is happening in the minds and hearts of the country.

Again (which seems to be a trend now), this year’s awards were a celebration of Satan! The “transgendered world” was highlighted and celebrated, of course, with a live performance by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who sang their hit song entitled, “Unholy.” Kim Petras also became the first “transgendered” woman to win a Grammy award. When she made that announcement and held up her Grammy, the crowd jumped to their feet to give a huge standing ovation!

This is what is happening in our country today! I was told this week, that the Fire Department in Manchester is renting their building on March 18th to some people who are going to have a “drag queen show.” Seriously!!!! What in the world is wrong with people? We called to see if it was a true story, and they confirmed it was true. The fellow said that the Fire Department was not hosting it, but they were renting their facility for that show to be held! It might be a good thing to blast them with protesting phone calls, especially if you live in Manchester.

I also read the other day that there are many folks in Government and in Hollywood who are living their lives in fear because their names have appeared on flight manifests showing they flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane to Epstein Island. The fear they have is because there is also another rumor that Epstein videotaped everything that went on in that house! I should think that would give some of these folks a reason to be unable to fall asleep at night!

I suspect if we knew the truth of how corrupt and vile many of our government officials are, we would be sickened beyond comprehension. If we knew an inkling of what our beloved movie stars and favorite singers believed in and how they behave when there is no camera on them - we might change the things we so greatly love and admire. How many of them have sold their souls to the Devil?

We should love the Lord, His Word, and the promise of His coming! Our lives would be so much more productive and we would have more peace if we would only put the Lord high above these carnal and fleshly people and their practices. In Romans 1, Paul shows us the downward spiral of these people who abandon God. In v. 28, Paul said, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.” Sadly, we are being governed by people, entertained by people, and led by people who have been turned over to a debased mind - to simply do whatever they want to do! May God have mercy on America!
