From My Heart

Next Sunday we will have Dr. Shelton Smith here to preach both services for us!  Dr. Smith is the Editor of the Sword of the Lord and was the pastor of our church for 17 years before he went to the Sword.  I want us to have a full house for each service, so I trust you will plan to be here.

After the service this evening, Pastor Josh and the youth group will be hosting a watermelon and cantaloupe fellowship for the church.  If the weather permits, we will set up chairs and tables and do everything outside.  Don’t miss it!

It seems to me that the Biden Justice Department is totally off the rails!  The Washington D. C. Swamp wants nothing more than to discredit President Trump to hurt his chances - or completely stop his run for office in 2024.  You might remember that Barack Obama nominated the present Attorney General, Merrick Garland, to the Supreme Court, before his second term was over.  The Republicans had the majority in the Senate at that time and would not even allow Garland to be questioned because his views are so radical.  Biden made Garland his choice for Attorney General, and he has turned the Department of Justice into a political weapon to go after those who would dare to stand against this Administration’s Socialist agenda.

The action taken this week has never happened before in our nation’s history. Trump could have turned the Justice Department against the Clintons, but he refused to weaponize the Government.  But, the Democrats have come after Trump, Project Veritas, Roger Stone, hundreds of people from the January 6th set-up, and dozens of those arrested are still sitting in jail cells in solitary confinement without a fair trial or (in some cases) without representation.  What has our country become under this Socialist regime? Please pray for our country.

CCS is about ready to crank up another school year.  We are excited to have Todd Comstock, Jr. as our new Administrator.  Being school Administrator is a huge job, so pray for Mr. Comstock and ask the Lord to give him wisdom and discernment for the new school year.  Please pray for our staff and all our students to have a great year.

Have a great day and let’s keep looking up - our Savior is coming soon!

Pastor Norris
