Thanks to Steve and Kathy Brown for the meals and driving us to and from the hospital. Thanks to Roger and April Pugh for the meals and visits. From My Heart

The worldview of our government leaders today is quite scary, to say the least. This last week in Davos, Switzerland, the World Economic Forum expressed grave concerns about the future of mankind on this planet. These unelected know-it-all elites believe the stereotypical Progressive Liberal, Marxist, and Socialist ideology which says there are simply too many people on the planet, and something needs to be done to control the population or there will soon not be enough food to feed everyone.

Another great concern they have is man’s reliance on meat in our diets. They recommend everyone swear an oath to veganism! They want us to eat seaweed, algae, cacti, beans, and avocado seeds. Ask yourself this simple little question, “Do you think any of the billionaires in Davos ate seaweed and prickly pear cacti for supper each evening?”

They want us to drive electric vehicles and give up our gasoline vehicles to get the world off fossil fuels! This is coming from people who own their own private Gulfstream Jets and who go all over the world whenever it strikes their fancy. Our illustrious leader recently said the high gasoline prices we are now paying are because of his plan to get our dependence off fossil fuels and assured us we will all be better off once his plan has accomplished his intended result.

The vision of these wealthy beyond measure politicians is to take away our rights and freedoms as each day passes. It is sobering to imagine how many of our Constitutional rights we have already surrendered to these Socialistic ideologues in the name of 911 and national security, in the name of protecting school children, or in the name of a population explosion!

We had better wake up as a nation and take a stand to keep our freedoms. We are just a few steps away from the Social Justice Warriors stepping into our churches and telling men of God what they can and cannot preach! In the name of “inclusiveness,” we are going to sit back and allow these radical Socialists to remove our Constitutional rights. The last I checked we still have freedom of speech, but with each day the Socialists are chipping away at that guaranteed right. The Second Amendment gives us the right to bear arms and says this right “cannot be infringed.” But it is being infringed, and it is about to get worse because the pressure from the Socialists in our government are beating down the Republicans, and in the name of the latest school shooting in Texas - are demanding even more gun-rights restrictions!

Please pray for your country and pray for the Lord Jesus to hasten His return for His Church. We are looking at some serious issues facing us in the summer ahead, and if the Lord does not intervene, we are going to be a hurting nation!

Pastor Norris
