From My Heart
I believe that most of what we are seeing in our world today is the Devil getting the world ready for the Antichrist. I believe the world is primed and ready to receive the Antichrist and will be more than willing to follow the agenda of deception he will institute. The Apostle Paul tells us this “man of sin” will come “after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). He will use his lies to deceive the nations and persuade mankind to believe he is the Messiah!
The world is so seriously divided today, and it seems the gap between Conservative and Liberal, between Right and Left, between Capitalist and Socialist, is wider than it has ever been before. It is definitely going to take someone who has miracle- working, persuasive, supernatural powers to bring the world together, and that is exactly what the Antichrist is going to do as he rises to power. I think the world is primed and ready to follow such a leader as the Man of Sin, as he is called in the Scriptures.
The good news in all of this is the fact that the Rapture of the Church will remove us before the Antichrist is revealed. Things are only going to get worse in this world as the Devil stirs up chaos from every direction. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 24:6-7 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars…For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” These things have been going on for decades now with increased intensity. And they are all simply a sign that we are closer to the Lord coming back for His Church than ever before!
The believers today need to stay diligent and keep looking up - for surely the Day of the Lord is at hand! The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 4:2, “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” Let’s stay faithful to the Lord as we await His glorious return to take all of us home to be with Him.
